Hannah's first-person voice is very readable, and the text is highlighted with her drawings and notes, which also move the story along. The series has the advantage of taking readers places they might not otherwise normally go in their fiction. During a chaotic music class in school, Hannah finds herself mysteriously transported to Australia, sent there by the angels that watch over her to help her new friend, Ian, track down poachers that are preying on endangered animals.

Hannah is busy picking out oranges in the grocery store when the angels suddenly transport her to the Merida marketplace in Mexico. Her third mission is to help a boy named Luis track down thieves who have stolen a precious golden urn. Following clues and a treasure map, Hannah and Luis find the urn--but when it disappears yet again,
Hannah has a sneaky suspicion that Luis may be hiding something very important from her...

#4. Notes From Blue Mountain - Appalachia

Hannah is hard at work writing a scary story for school when she suddenly finds herself listening to spooky stories in a firelit cabin in the Appalachian Mountains. As everyone prepares for the upcoming autumn festival, Hannah must help Annie, a girl her own age, who suspects that her brother has been kidnapped. Frankie doesn't want to leave his island home, so Hannah helps him dodge his well-meaning aunt amid the Carnival commotion. But when a mysterious man with a cane starts following them too, hide-and-seek is no longer a game!

Hannah arrives in northern Canada during a raging snowstorm to help rescue the victims of a small plane crash! She and her young Inuit friends set out by dogsled, but when two of the sled dogs become sick, the angels whisk Hannah home to Wisconsin to bring back her veterinarian dad.

Arriving in Paris with her Grandma Zoe, Hannah Martin is suspected of being a smuggler, and when her grandmother disappears Hannah must clear her name without her grandmother's help.
